Academic Calendar Committee

The Academic Calendar Committee is composed of faculty, staff, administrative representatives, and resources members from various college areas. The committee coordinates the development of the College's Academic calendar and reports to the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs/College Provost.

Although it is called an Academic Calendar, it also serves as an operational document: the calendar identifies holidays and other College closings that impact the entire College community as well as instructional and non-instructional days for faculty. The procedure for the development of the College calendar is set forth in Montgomery College's Policy & Procedures at 28001/28001CP (last updated in 2024 and 2021, respectively).

The Calendar Committee meets bi-annually at a minimum. If you would like to offer a suggestion about a proposed calendar, have a Calendar Committee representative speak to your group or inquire about more information regarding the meeting schedule, please contact the committee.
