MC Campus Store and Distribution Hubs

To purchase your course materials through Slingshotnew window, select Login and enter your MyMC ID and password to get started.

Students can place orders online through the Slingshot websitenew window, by calling the store at 240-567-5302, or by visiting the MC Campus Store on the Rockville campus.

Orders can be shipped to your home address, picked up at the Rockville Campus Store, or at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring and Germantown campus distribution hubs when those locations are operational.

Students are able to use their allotted financial aid book credit to purchase course materials, school supplies, art and required supplies, technology products, apparel, and other approved products at the campus store. To learn more, please review the support guide (PDF, ) .

You can check your eligibility for financial aid book credit in MyMCnew window before the start of the semester. Book credit can be used at the MC Campus Store and is available in the beginning of the semester. For more information, please visit the Financial Aid FAQs and Deadlines pagenew window. 

Yes. When you use your financial aid book credit at the campus store, the charges will be posted to your student account. To learn how to access your account and get more information about charges and payments, please visit the Student Account FAQnew window.

If your purchases exceed your financial aid book credit, you are responsible for any remaining charges posted to your student account. If you don’t have financial aid book credit, you are responsible for the full charges posted to your student account.

Slingshot partners with Jostens to provide student regalia, and faculty rental regalia. Student regalia is available for purchase at each campus, during the Grad Fairs days. Students can also purchase regalia onlinenew window, or at the MC Campus Store (Rockville), at specific times leading up to Commencement. Faculty can order rental regalia onlinenew window, or at the via MC Campus Store (Rockville). More information will be available on MC’s Commencement webpagenew window.

Required supplies for your courses (including art supplies and kits, biotech notebooks, goggles, nursing/health uniforms, and other materials selected by your instructor) can be ordered and purchased onlinenew window, just like textbooks. You can also use your financial aid to pay for these course-required supplies.

Non-required supplies can be purchased in the following ways:

• Onlinenew window with a credit card
• In-person with a credit card or financial aid funds
• At the hubs (a selection of supplies will be available for purchase) with a credit card or financial aid funds
