MC Campus Store and Distribution Hubs

The College community will continue to receive communications regarding services offered by Slingshot.

Students can place orders onlinenew window, call the store (240-567-5302), or visit the MC Campus Store at the Rockville campus. Orders will be available for pick-up at the Takoma Park/Sliver Spring and Germantown campuses distribution hubs. Hubs’ operating hours will be finalized after we engage our campus communities and Slingshot to evaluate operational needs. Students are able to use their allotted financial aid book credit to purchase course materials, school supplies, art and required supplies, technology products, apparel, and other approved products at the campus store.

Slingshot will partner with Jostens to provide student regalia, and faculty rental regalia. Student regalia will be available for purchase at each campus, during the Grad Fairs days. Students can also purchase regalia onlinenew window, or at the MC Campus Store, (Rockville), at specific times leading up to Commencement. Faculty can order rental regalia onlinenew window, or at the via MC Campus Store (Rockville). More information will be available on MC’s Commencement webpagenew window. 

Slingshot will continue to provide course materials for Dual Enrollment students using the current process established in collaboration with the Dual Enrollment office. Please visit the Dual Enrollmentnew window office for more information.

Adoption submitters will be able to enter adoptions via the Slingshot Pronew window online tool. If you need adoption submitter access in the Slingshot Pro tool, please contact your department chair to confirm your access, prior to contacting Slingshot store team (240-567-5302, montgomerycollege@slingshotedu.com).

Slingshot is committed to academic freedom and encourages faculty to select materials that foster student success. Faculty should inform Slingshot regarding the usage of OER materials by placing a course materials adoption, to ensure students have visibility of these materials on the Slingshot Student Pro online tool. 

Yes, MC Campus Store will continue to collaborate with art faculty to ensure they provide art supplies required for courses.

Depending on publisher and market availability, students may be able to rent and purchase printed and digital books.
