Hardware Specifications for Students
As technology will be a major component of your education at MC, the following hardware
baseline specifications will help prepare you for online learning and ensure that
all systems used will function properly.
Some areas of study may have more requirements than the minimum recommendations listed
below. For more information about your specific area of study, please contact your
professor.

Cable service providers in the Montgomery County area (Comcast, RCN, and Verizon)

- Operating System (OS) - Windows 10 - 64 Bit
- Processor - Intel Core i3 series (8th gen, 2 core, 4MB cache, 2.1Ghz and up)
- Memory (RAM) - 4/8GB RAM
- Hard Drive - 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD) or higher

- Operating System (OS) - Windows 10 - 64 Bit
- Processor - Intel 8th Generation i5/i7 or better
- Memory (RAM) - 16GB RAM or higher

- Graphics Card - NVIDIA or AMD
