Bootstrap Sample

Generate Bootstrap Samples from an original sample.
PROCEDURE for BOOTSTRAP PROPORTIONS
On StatKeynew window, select Confidence Interval for Single Proportion under Bootstrap Confidence Intervals on the main page.
STEP 1: Click on the Edit Data button at the top of the StatKey page.
STEP 2: Enter the count, x, and the sample size, n, corresponding to your sample data. Click Ok.
STEP 3: Click on Generate 1 Sample to generate a bootstrap sample. The results for the bootstrap sample showing the count, sample size, and sample proportion are displayed on the right sidebar below the Original Sample information. The sample proportion of the bootstrap sample data (the bootstrap proportion) is also displayed on the main graph.
PROCEDURE for BOOTSTRAP MEANS
On StatKeynew window, select Confidence Interval for a Mean, Median, Std. Dev. under Bootstrap Confidence Intervals on the main page.
STEP 1: Click on the Edit Data button at the top of the StatKey page.
STEP 2: Copy the YouTube Videos or Wikipedia Language Options data from this sample datanew window page and paste the data from your clipboard into the Edit Data entry box.

STEP 3: Click on Generate 1 Sample to generate a bootstrap sample. The results -- bootstrap sample data, along with its mean, standard deviation, etc. -- are displayed on the right sidebar below the Original Sample information. The sample mean of the bootstrap sample data (the bootstrap mean) is also displayed on the main graph.
