Data Security@MC: Annual Review
Data Security@MC training is a requirement to ensure College compliance and attention. Security awareness training is mandatory for all faculty and staff. This online training teaches you how to better identify common methods used by cyber attackers to gain access to account credentials and information systems. The training also provides tips and techniques to help detect and defend against these threats.
The College has partnered with SANS Security Awareness, a leader in security awareness
training, to offer online training that is engaging and relevant to safe computing
on campus and at home. The training has several sections and takes about 35 minutes
to complete. To receive credit for training you will need to complete all sections
and respond to the short quizzes.
DataSecurity@MC: Annual Review training provides precheck questions – answer all correctly
and your training is complete! If you missed any questions during the precheck, a
personalized training assessment will be developed just for you. Training is available
now in MC Learns and must be completed by June 30, 2022.
Remember – after successfully completing training you may revisit anytime throughout the year for a refresher!
