Assessment at Montgomery College

MC’s assessment process integrates assessment activities so that all assessment functions are streamlined into one continuous cycle. The assessment of general education competencies, program student learning outcomes, and overall program effectiveness all culminate into a report called the College Area Review

Our Learning Outcomes Assessment process is comprised of two focus areas, General Education Assessment and Program Assessment.

Special Programs and Administrative Assessment
Special Programs and Administrative Areas complete a six-year CAR review and a three-year Integrated Report to update their progress with CAR Recommendations.

College Area Review  is a comprehensive evaluative process of all academic areas (credit and non-credit), student affairs, and administrative units.
