Health and Prescription Plans
As an eligible employee of Montgomery College, you can choose which health plan works best for you and your family – a high deductible plan with a health savings account, a Point of Service (POS) plan, or an HMO.
The details of each plan are presented below or visit Alexnew window to help you decide which plan is best for you.
Cigna Choice Fund

- Employees who elect to enroll in this plan may not be enrolled in a health care Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Participants may enroll in a limited FSA for vision and dental expenses.
- New enrollees who are currently in a FSA must incur and be reimbursed for all expenses by the end of the calendar year, or else they may not be eligible for the full College HSA funding amount.
- Employees enrolled in the Health Savings Account may not have other health coverage, including Medicare Part A and/or B, or be collecting Social Security benefits. Employees’ dependents may not have other health coverage, but may be Medicare participants.
- Employees may utilize the HSA to pay for qualified medical, dental, pharmacy and vision expenses.
