Talent Share Program
The Talent Share program was designed to meet the College’s needs through the use of existing benefits eligible staff who are not able to work in remote status in their current role, or have time available to support the operations of the College in a different capacity.
As a result of our changed work environment, some departments are experiencing an increase in workload while others may have employees with increased availability. To help bridge that gap, the Office of Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management (HRSTM) launched this program to support the college community.
Our goal is to work together to share our talents and expertise across the College, while continuing to support our students and build a stronger, more resilient community.

“Talent Share is not an added tax on supervisors—instead, it's a rewarding opportunity to work with others who you may not always have the chance to interact with and support the greater mission and needs of our MC community.”— Adam Reid, Interim Director of Public Safety
“Simply put, our colleagues in other departments needed help in providing services. All college employees are facing new challenges in this virtual learning environment. And as educators, what we do impacts students‘ success.” — Deborah Newman, Access Services Supervisor
At first, I was concerned with being assigned to IT. I do not even have a social media account and do not consider myself a tech person. I think learning the Office 365 applications that the College uses has been a great experience and I was able to give my feedback from the Academic side into the IT department. I’ve sort of been surprised by it, it has been a worthwhile experience for sure!” —Christin Slaughter, Instructional Lab Coordinator
